Katie Bennett

This week we are praying for Katie Bennett 

Katie has recently made the tough decision to not return to Spain with NZCMS and to stay in New Zealand. 

1. Study: Praise God for the Biblical Counseling course I have begun. I’m only 3 weeks in and already learning so much about God, myself and others. Please pray it will be a very useful tool both in my own life and in the lives of people I love and minister to.
   
2. NZ Church: Please pray for my church in Christchurch as they enter a new phase of Covid restrictions. Pray for the newly appointed Minister, Joel and the staff team that God would give them abundant amounts of wisdom as they shepherd us as a congregation through these changing times. 
3. Gijón, Spain: Give thanks for the recent prayer events that have taken place both at my church and also amongst churches in the city. Pray that this may bring a strong desire to pray together and that unity and love would grow between believers and churches.
   
4. Work: I am currently working three days a week but really need an extra day. Pray that this might come about soon and that God would show me where to look. 
5. Seriously Interested in Mission Group: I am going to co-lead a mission discovery group with the Director of my Mission Organisation, Rosie. Pray for the info email that was sent to church ministers in Christchurch about it.  We are keen for them to suggest people from their congregations who have a strong interest in cross- cultural missions either within NZ or abroad.  Pray for Rosie and I as we meet to plan next week. Pray too for the right young people to sign up. I'm very excited by this opportunity!
