WEDDINGS

​Congratulations on your forthcoming marriage!

​Planning weddings can be a stressful experience, but we’re here to help.
There are a number of steps to go through, both legal and practical arrangements that need to be made in order to be married in a church.

Firstly, visit the Church of England’s ‘Your Wedding‘ website,
to find out if you’re eligible to be married at Bishop Hannington Church.

FUNERALS

We’re very sorry that you’ve been recently bereaved.

At a time like this we want to support you, and help you to remember your loved ones in a fitting and appropriate way.

If you’d like to hold a funeral or thanksgiving service at Bishop Hannington or to have one of the clergy take a crematorium service then please contact the church office, as well as an undertaker of your choice.

Once a year, early in November we hold a special bereavement service on a Sunday afternoon.
A chance to remember our loved ones, and remember Christian hope in death.

If you’d like the names of your loved ones to be included in an act of remembrance, or you’d like to attend the service, please contact the church office.
