Thought for the Day by Simon James-Morse (Minister Goldstone Church)1 Those who live in the shelter of the Most High will find rest in the shadow of the Almighty. 2 This I declare about the Lord: He alone is my refuge, my place of safety; he is my God, and I trust him. 3 For he will rescue you from every trap and protect you from deadly disease. 4 He will cover you with his feathers. He will shelter you with his wings. His faithful promises are your armour and protection. Psalm 91:1-4 (NLT) Please read the above verses again – but as a prayer. This is a prayer for each one of us, our family, our home, or our work. Let us pray these words in faith, knowing that God’s Word is true. “The very essence of your words is truth; all your just regulations will stand forever.” (Ps 119:160) Now pause – silently rest in God’s presence. “Be still, and know that I am God!” (Ps 46:10a) Read and reflect on the above verses one more time. Dear Lord, thank you for being with me and that I can dwell with You. Thank you, Lord that You are my refuge and my place of safety; You are my God and I trust in You. Thank you that You have and will continue to rescue me from every trap and from deadly disease. Your wings will shelter me, and Your promises are yes and Amen. I will not fear the terrors that come at me from the Enemy, I will not fear the weapons used against me, I will not fear the diseases nor the disasters. Lord, thank you that Your angels are watching over me and my family. Thank you that You are eternally faithful, eternal true and eternally loving. In Jesus’ name, Amen Appeal for Brazil
