Sunday Children’s Groups

Each Sunday morning we run groups for children ages 0-14, with the exception of ‘The Mix’ service.

Crèche (0-2s)  -  Mini-Scramblers (2-3s)  -  Scramblers (4-5s)  -  Climbers (5-7s)  -  Explorers (7-11s)  -  Sunday AM (11-14s)

There’s also a midweek meeting for 11-14s called Rooted.

The Mix

‘The Mix’ is our monthly All-Age service. There’s something for everyone including a special parallel service for under 7s and their families. There’ll be songs, crafts and loads of fun as we celebrate 2012 by learning more about Jesus.

Runs from 10-11am with refreshments afterwards.

Tiddlywinks

Tiddlywinks meets in the church lounge on Wednesday mornings in term time from 9.45 am to 11.15 am for mums and/or dads or carers with preschool age children.

There’s craft, toys, stories & singing with refreshments provided. Priority is given to those who live in the immediate area.

Tuesday Group

‘Tuesday Group’ is a friendly and informal group, primarily (but not exclusively) for women with young children. It is a group that provides support and helps its members grow as Christians. We are made up of women from many different churches in the City.

We meet during term time on Tuesdays from 10.00am at Bishop Hannington Church lounge for topical discussions, talks and activities. On alternate weeks we split into smaller groups for Bible Study, and frequently we run a group that aims to explore what Christianity is about. A creche is available each week for preschool children to enable their mother / carer to participate in Tuesday Group. A programme card (which tells you what is planned for each week) is available each term from the Church.
