World Mission

Bishop Hannington Church supports mission all over the world. Through the charitable trust, The James Hannington Memorial Trust (#284183), the church seeks to give money and other resources to support gospel work in many different nations.

Brighton City Mission

The Brighton & Hove City Mission exists to make a positive difference in this city, helping the body, mind and spirit.

Xander Coomber

Born and raised in Brighton, and a lifelong member at Bishop Hannington. In 2010 Xander left Brighton to work at St. Andrew’s Kendray, in Barnsley. As a church we continue to support him in his new role as Youth worker there.

George & Nelu Cozea

Georgina and Nelu Cozea live in Scrind, North-Western Romania, working with Maranatha Ministries. Nelu is Pastor of two churches, while Georgina, formerly a church apprentice at Bishop Hannington, works among women and children. Currently, we are supporting them financially as they seek to build a house, a place to do ministry, and also raise a family.

Anna Hopkins

Anna, originally from Brighton became a Christian at Reading University. She returned to Brighton on the UCCF relay programme, and now works with GBU in Paris. Anna works with Christian student groups in the universities, encouraging and equipping Christian students to live and speak for Jesus.

New Growth Ministries

The Mackenzie family live on a small farm near Chinhoyi, Zimbabwe. Since a major drought in 1992 Rob & Hilary Mackenzie have been involved in feeding programmes, care for the poor and AIDS orphans. NGM aims to feed, clothe, care for and educate orphans, practically sharing the love of Christ.

Off the Fence

This Brighton based charity provides vital services for the marginalised and vulnerable in our city; the homeless, women at risk, and does lots of work in local schools. Recently we have supported Project Antifreeze in their appeal to provide sleeping bags for rough sleepers.

Martin & Fran Russell

Nelson & Marcia Salviano

Nelson and Marcia Salviano work with Escale Project in Brazil. Based in Belo Horizonte they seek to train and equip Pastors to handle the Bible correctly, to teach it to others. Nelson is often travelling all over Brazil to help others in this important work.

SCOM

Student Christian Organisation of Malawi (SCOM) works in the schools, colleges and universities of Malawi. It seeks to disciple Christian young people and reach out with the gospel to others. We seek to support their ministry in a variety of ways.
